The Tao of Harmony ? The Open Process at Wilder Studios | Wilder ...

Every Friday night Wilder Studios opens its doors to the Open Process.
A night of mediation?and fun led by Mark Kenison.
Here, Mark explains what happens at the Open Process and the ways it can beneifit your health and happiness.

What is the Open Process ethos?

The Open Process could also be called The Tao of Harmony. Essentially it is the practice of living life from the perspective of our inner genius, or source energy, or god, or buddha consciousness, or universal mind, or whatever you like to call the great mystery that holds it all together. Within the framework on the Open Process, we actively choose to live by the maxim that source energy knows best, and since we are all god or source energy anyway, we might as well live our lives by its will. As opposed to the whim of our ego.

Is there anything people need to bring to your workshops?

A blanket to wrap around you during the sitting meditation, perhaps also a cushion or meditation stool.

What can people expect from your workshops at Wilder Studios?

We sit in silence for ?The Golden Flower Meditation? for 20 mins first of all, then we move/dance for 30 mins for the movement meditation. The rest of the evening, from about 9.30 onwards is for dancing to some nice dance tunes, and supping teas, eating cake etc. Socialising after the meditations, is, I?believe, a very important aspect of the practise.

What is your background in meditation?

I have been?practising?and/or involved in, many types of meditation, for over 20 years.

What are the benefits to this sort of meditation?
Deep inner peace and harmony. More energy. A balanced and integrated psyche. Stronger intuition. Increased creativity.. plus lots more.
