The World Anti-Doping Agency has pointed the finger at China as a ?major source of supply? of illegal performance-enhancing drugs.

WADA President John Fahey made the comment on Tuesday to the AFP.

Earlier, the anti-doping agency?s director-general, David Howman, told Reuters that ?99% of illegal substances came from China.?
?
At a media symposium in London, Howman says the raw materials for illegal sports drugs are ?going to gangs? and ?sold on the street on in the gym.?
?
Fahey says WADA has asked the Chinese authorities to help, and actions have been taken.?
?
Still, he says WADA knows the country remains a major source of supply.
